Manchester City duo of Gabriel Jesus and Kyle Walker along with two employees have tested positive for COVID-19, the Premier League club confirmed on Friday.

The four of Jesus, Walker and staff are now going through a period of self-isolation according to the Premier League and UK Government protocol on coronavirus quarantine.

In what will be a huge blow for Man City, both Jesus and Walker will now be quarantined for 10 days and will miss the Premier League games against Newcastle United, Everton and Chelsea as they play return the day before the Carabao Cup semi – final clash against Manchester United.

With Jesus and Walker set to return to training a day before the Carabao Cup semi – final against arch rivals United Manchester, it is very likely that they will feature in the game.

The latest development will put more pressure on the likes of Sergio Aguero and Joao Cancelo which means they already have to play consecutive games in a gloomy winter time. Pep Guardiola was able to tweak his lineup to relax Aguero, who has just returned from a long injury spell.
