West Ham United are interested in signing a new striker during the January transfer window.
David Moyes is keen to support his attacking options ahead of the new year and Chelsea talisman Olivier Giroud seems to have emerged as their main target.
The club are believed to be willing to fire Andriy Yarmalenko to raise the money to secure the 34-year-old’s signature, according to The Mirror.

Enthusiastic Moyes has signed an established striker to support struggling Michail Antonio and struggling Sebastien Haller.
Haller – who made 20 appearances last season in the Bundesliga – has only found the net twice in 11 games for West Ham.
Fans have grown concerned that the Ivory Coast international is not up to Premier League status.
Last season ‘s top scorer, Antonio, has been sidelined with a upset since West Ham won 2-1 over Aston Villa at the end of November.

It was a huge loss for Moyes as he scored three times in six rounds for West Ham earlier in the season.
His goals came against Premier League giants Arsenal, Leicester and Manchester City. As a result, the Hammers are said to be interested in bringing Giroud to London Stadium in January.
The Frenchman has been linked with a move away from Chelsea in the January transfer window as he looks to increase his chances of joining France’s Euro 2020 squad next summer.
However, Blues manager Frank Lampard has been adamant that Giroud still has a key role to play at the club.
