Warner Studios Announces: Third Movie for Wonder Woman

Thanks to the success of “Wonder Woman 1984”, the second film in the cinematic plots of the protagonist Diana Prince / Wonder Woman, Warner Studios announced today (Sunday) for the first time that the third film in the series that is expected to become a trilogy is already in the works. Patti Jenkins will continue as Israeli director and actress Gal Gadot will continue as Princess Diana.
The second film in the series, “Wonder Woman 1984,” whose exposure was delayed due to the Corona plague and the controversial compromise to launch it on streaming service HBO Max, created a stir in the movie world, but turned out to be the right move. The film has become extremely lucrative since the outbreak of the global corona plague and apparently accelerated the processes for the third film in the series.

“Wonder Woman 1984” is the second solo film in the cinematic plots of the protagonist Wonder Woman, the warrior Amazon played by Gadot – this time in the colorful and materialistic 80s.

Diana works as a senior anthropologist at the Smithsonian Research Institute in Washington, D.C., where she befriends a Shlomiel investigator named Barbara-Ann Minerva (Kristen Wiig) and together they are asked to help the FBI decipher an ancient and mysterious stone. The plot deals with heart desires and the heavy price that can come with them. For Diana it’s mostly about dreams of reuniting with her core choice, fighter pilot Steve Trevor (Chris Payne), where she fell in love with a previous film that took place during World War I.
