Cellcom and Here signed today (Monday) a sharing agreement, in which the first will present podcasts on behalf of “Here are the agreements” to its TV subscribers. Among the programs that will go up on the platform are “Pocket Animals”, “Children’s History”, “The Lab”, “Gate”, “Another Day” and “A Head Full of Stories”.
In recent years, podcasts have become a sought-after content and consumed by quite a few people. According to a survey by Yifat Media Communications, 30 percent of the population between the ages of 18 and 55 listen to podcasts regularly. 80 percent hear the nuisances via mobile, and in Iraq while traveling, sporting activities and cleaning the house.
Healy Horev, Cellcom TV’s content director, said in response to the agreement: “The successful podcasts of the ‘Making History’ network that we launched in recent months are a huge success. I have no doubt that the quality screenings here, known for their quality and expansion “This is a great opportunity for us to make this unique medium, which is virtually replacing radio, accessible to Cellcom TV viewers and users, so that the podcast becomes available in the home entertainment center. We will continue to provide quality and innovative value propositions to our viewers, as a central goal.”
