NEW YORK (AP) – Last year, Taylor Swift brought us a lot of new music. This year it will be old – the pop star has announced that she is releasing the first of her albums again.
Swift said online Thursday that “Fearless: Taylor’s Version” is ready and “he’ll be with you soon,” with songs re-recorded from Swift’s sophomore album, “Fearless. ”

The new set will feature 26 songs – the original album had 13 – and will feature six unprecedented songs, tunes that made up “almost” the album. She said listeners will have the opportunity to hear the collection in all its “whimsical, effervescent, chaotic.”
Swift will release a new version of her song “Love Story” from “Fearless” on Thursday at midnight, just in time for the Valentine’s Day weekend.
Swift has promised to re-record its first six albums after music manager Scooter Braun announced that Ithaca Holdings had acquired Big Machine Label Group, home to Swift’s first six albums. He then sold the Swift catalog without giving the singer-songwriter a chance to master it.
“Fearless” was written when Swift was 16-18 and won Swift’s first Grammy Award. Fans are likely to embrace the re-recorded version and push the original records lower in searches.
Swift did not announce when “Fearless: Taylor’s Version” would be available but did state posted on Twitter includes a hidden message using only the capital letters that read: The ninth of April.
Regarding the new full-length recording, Swift wrote: “I’ve decided that I want you to have the whole story, see the whole animated picture, and let the full version look in.” that’s the “Fearless” album.

“This process has been more satisfying and exciting than I could have imagined and has made me even more confident in recording all my music,” she said.
In 2020, Taylor released two albums – “Folklore” and “Evermore.”
