Fox The Simpsons it’s in the middle of a historic run, with the animated series recently updated for two new seasons. The current 32nd season has resulted in a number of notable events, most notably in the ever-changing team of voice actors. Le The SimpsonsCelebrating the 700th program on the horizon, the series brings back one of their favorite guest stars, Albert Brooks – and now our first look is back. In the series’ 698th program, “Yokel Hero”, Brooks introduces “Slick Manager” of United Parasites Management Company, which hopes to sign Cletus (Hank Azaria) to a top deal after his be a singing sensation. This is Brooks ’first appearance on the series since 2015, marking the latest in a long line of cameo engagements he has made since the first season. The most memorable of these are Brad Goodman, the self-help guru in “Bart’s Inner Child” at Season 5, and Russ Cargill, EPA executive spokesman in 2007 The Simpsons movie. And of course, Hank Scorpio, Homer’s new Bond-villain-esque boss in the Season 8 documentary is now “You Only Move Twice.”
As executive producer Al Jean said Variety, Brooks’ appearance in “Yokel Hero” will be longer than fans would expect.
“It’s a long-winded appearance, almost the third act,” said Jean. “And of course, [Brooks] it’s always funny and it was just funny to record it, both to hear what it’s talking about when it’s not the lines and then when it’s the lines, what it contributes to them. ”
