Taylor Swift is releasing her second album in 2020 with Evermore which has sold over a MILLION copy
Taylor Swift has a very successful year.
Last week, the 31-year-old star Evermore’s latest album hit the Billboard 200, and has been one of the highest-selling records of the year.
According to the Republican singer label, the amazing release has sold more than 1M copies in less than a week after their debut on December 11th.

Swift Folklore’s previous album, released in July without any prior knowledge, is still recognized as the highest-selling album of 2020.
The only other music artists to win two number one albums this year were KTS pop mainstays BTS and rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
The debut album, dubbed Evermore as the ‘sister album’, was also the first major album released this year.
With Oral, the singer broke Whitney Houston ‘s longtime record for having a record spending most weeks at position number one on the Billboard 200.

Oral has been nominated for the Album of the Year Award at the upcoming Grammy Awards, and Cardigan’s top journalist has been nominated for Song of the Year.
Evermore has become Swift ‘s eighth record to sell more than a million copies in its first week of release; Willow’s first single advanced to the top of the Hot 100 chart.
Billboard statistics for album numbers come from a combination of corporate record sales and meaningful song streams.
The media company was also categorizing singer You Belong With Me’s latest album as another release, as it continues its recent effort towards country and indie songwriting.

Like her eighth album, Swift ‘s latest release was recorded entirely during quarantine when she also recorded songs for Folklore.
The release of her style continued to move away from her previous pop sound, and featured contributions from a number of other artists, including HAIM, Bon Iver, and The National; Jack Antonoff also worked as a songwriter and producer.
On Dec. 10, the singer posted several photos to her Instagram account showing her back, which would eventually be the cover of the album.
Evermore was released the day after, two days before Swift’s birthday.
