Porsche now makes electric bikes, and they are not cheap

in your garage – especially an electric one like the interesting Taycan – but aren’t the six figures it takes to buy one? Well, what about a bicycle? As in a bicycle. In particular, a Porsche bike – and an electric one at that.

Good news, bad news: Porsche has just unveiled two new electric bikes. But you will still need Porsche buyer money to get one.

The German automaker behind vehicles like the iconic 911 sports car and Cayenne SUV also now offer a pair of electric bikes. One is for the road and is called eBike Sport. The other is similar to a mountain bike and is called an eBike Cross.

Both are made in Germany in collaboration with electric bike expert Rotwild.

Sophisticated Porsche electric bikes

The bikes are solemn cases with full suspension, a carbon-shaped frame meant to wake up the Taycan, and high-performance brakes. They’re called Porsche, remember.

The Porsche says the eBike Sport running on the road is good for city duty and has a motor that can support speeds of up to 15 mph The eBike Cross is rougher, more terrain, than a relationship more ready for an off-road adventure.

Naturally, both bikes fit in a special rear carriage for another electric Porsche – the newly introduced Taycan Cross Turismo.

The eBikes will be offered in three frame sizes – small, medium and large – and will be slated to arrive in the spring at Porsche retailers and select bike shops.

Oh, and about that price. Remember – we said it will take some money to get into the Porsche of bikes. Porsche eBike Sport will cost $ 10,700, while the eBike Cross will sell for $ 8,549.
