Nearly 38 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been dispensed, 17.5 million administered: US CDC

(Reuters) – The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said it had delivered 17,546,374 doses of COVID-19 vaccines in the country as of Thursday morning and dispensed 37,960,000 doses.

The dose of vaccine doses for both Moderna and Pfizer / BioNTech, vaccines are as high as 9:00 am ET on Thursday, the group said.

According to what was posted on January 20, the group had dispensed 16,525,281 doses of the vaccines, and dispensed 35,990,150 doses.

The group said 15,053,257 people had received 1 or more doses and 2,394,961 people received the second dose as of Thursday.

A total of 2,089,181 vaccine doses were given in long-term care facilities, the group said.
