Michael B. Jordan gave Hermès stock to his girlfriend for Valentine’s Day

Watching how Michael B. Jordan is invested in his relationship.

While many mourned their sweethearts with traditional Valentine’s Day gifts such as jewelry and chocolate over the weekend, the “Black Panther” star took things to the next level. Instead of just buying his girlfriend, Lori Harvey, a leather bag or silk scarf from Hermès Parisian fashion house, he bought her stock at Hermès International RMS,
+ 0.71%
instead.

“The best gift ever … a baby bought me stock in Hermes,” Harvey wrote in an Instagram story that took a hard look at the certified pit.

Harvey did not reveal what she has now invested in the luxury label. But if the rest of her Valentine’s Day weekend is any indication, Jordan hasn’t grabbed her shares.

The “Creed” actor rented an aquarium for a private tour, and one video showed an underwater tunnel decorated with flowers and candles. Jordan had a hilarious dinner from Japanese diner Nobu organized with more candles and bouquets of roses at the aquarium, too.

He is not the first celebrity to make headlines by donating stock. In 2017, Kanye West dealt with his wife, Kim Kardashian, a blue-chip stock package that was worth hundreds of thousands of dollars from companies including Apple AAPL,
-1.61%,
Amazon AMZN,
-0.27%
and Netflix NFLX,
+ 0.14%.
“Warning the best man!” she posted at the time.
