Pep Guardiola insists midfielder Ilkay Gundogan should be eligible for Arsenal’s Manchester City game on Sunday after the midfielder defeated Everton.
Gundogan, who has scored four goals in his last two league games against Tottenham and Liverpool, lost 3-1 at Goodison Park on Wednesday night with a minor groin injury.
City leader Guardiola revealed Germany’s absence from Wednesday’s mother squad was cautious and is looking to return at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.

City will face Borussia Monchengladbach next Wednesday in their first leg of the 16 Champions League and will be boosted by the news of Gundogan ‘s spirits.
