Lord Sugar pays tribute to sister who died from Covid-19 in second family grief case

Lord Alan Sugar’s sister has died of Covid-19 just two weeks after his brother died of the virus.

In a tweet In the early hours of December 30, Lord Sugar said: “My older sister Shirley died today at the age of 88 she had been ill for some time but I believe covid eventually found her. over to join our brother Derek who gave up 2 weeks ago. RIP SHIRL “


Lord Sugar’s brother Derek contracted the virus two weeks ago.

The founder of Amstrad paid tribute to his brother on December 15, saying: “Today I lost my brother Derek, a long-suffering victim – another Covid victim, who contributed to his basic health issues. ”

“He was a lifelong Spurs supporter. I will never forget my sister-in-law mocking me, thanking me for buying him the club. A sad day for all of us in the family, “added Lord Sugar.

The double tragedy for the Sugar family comes as a new version of Covid-19 sweeps through countries at twice the rate of the first wave of diseases seen in early summer.
