The highly acclaimed Hindi adaptation of the Tamil Aruvi (2017) film is being made. It will feature Fatima Sana Sheikh in the lead role, and will be supported by filmmaker E Niwas, a recipient of the Shool National Film Award (1999).
Speaking about reshaping the Aruvi world for Hindi change, the film ‘s director, E Niwas, said in a statement, “Aruvi is not just a story about a hero. It is an advantage over the labyrinths of life. It’s absolutely euphoric and an honor to explore one of the most beautiful cinematic characters I’ve come across. Fatima Sana Shaikh is very appropriate, and I am delighted to be collaborating with Applause Entertainment and Faith Films. ”
Fatima Sana Shaikh, last seen in LUDO at Anurag Basu, will feature a fiery, eponymous character made in his memory by Aditi Balan in the original Tamil. Fatima’s Ajeeb Dastaans will be streaming on Netflix soon as well.

The Hindi adaptation of Aruvi will be made under the banner of Applause Entertainment in collaboration with Faith Films. Filming is expected to begin filming in mid-2021.
