Fresh from singing bitcoin recommendations, GameStop rally, and Etsy, Tesla TSLA,
CEO Elon Musk says he is taking a break from Twitter.
In a terse message, Musk states that he is “off Twitter TWTR,
For a while. ”This is not the first time the entrepreneur has taken a break from the platform he previously found in trouble with the Securities and Exchange Commission, having used the same phrase on June 2, 2020. His Twitter breach then lasted nearly three weeks.
Before he tweeted, he showed a video of the Giga Berlin factory, which when finished makes batteries and powertrains for Tesla. He also said human testing at Neuralink, a neurotechnology company he founded, could begin as early as this year.
In the last few weeks, Musk has changed his profile to just “#bitcoin” BTCUSD,
and referenced the rally in GameStop GME,
by mocking “GameStonk. ”
Comments on Musk’s breakup focused on the potential impact on markets.
