Twitter has suspended Donald Trump’s account for 12 hours and for the first time deleted his tweets after he praised the move that took Congress by storm and said that he ‘liked’ them.
YouTube and Facebook also followed suit in removing the posts, with Facebook and Instagram also blocking Trump from their platform for 24 hours.
Snapchat blocked Wednesday morning, before filming the video. The platform said his account lockout was unexplained.
Read one of the deleted tweets: ‘These are the things and events that happen when the effects of a holy landslide election are so unusually and brutally removed from the natives treated so badly and so unfairly for so long. Go home with love & in peace. Remember this day forever! ‘
In the deleted video, he poured more fuel on the fire, thinking the selection had been ‘stolen’ and telling the protesters that he liked them.
Donald Trump last addressed his supporters in a video on Wednesday in which he continued to say that the election had been stolen.

One woman died Wednesday when a group of angry Trump supporters smashed the Capitol and entered the House and Senate chambers.
The Assembly was evacuated at 2.30pm.
There are more than 2,000 Capitol police officers with special jurisdiction on Capitol Land. But they were overtaken when protesters broke through a window and into the building.
Capitol Police were spotted carrying violent rallies by Trump supporters on the first floor of the Capitol building.
Police from nearby Montgomery County, Maryland were also chased to the Capitol area, CNN reported.
Muriel Bowser, mayor of Washington DC, had already deployed National Guard troops ahead of the pro-Trump rally which was recorded as a ‘halt to the theft incident’ – albeit at the same time as the effort prohibited in law for Congress to count College Election votes.
The entire DC National Guard was to be deployed within hours, the Washington Post reported, after Bowser asked him to send a duty guard to the Capitol.
Bowser also sent a 6pm curfew for Washington.
