Hawk and the winter soldier
Disney
I was wondering how Falcon and the Winter Soldier would get as a result of the much worse WandaVision, and now that the program is one here and there are a number of critics and critics continue to watch it, we start to get a sense of that.
The MCU shows are very different both scoring a lot among critics and fans, meaning Disney has several blows on their hands, whether they want to be more experimental by WandaVision or more traditionally with a large fare like Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Here ‘s how the rankings are shaking up so far among critics and fans, with Falcon having a small margin in most categories after the first look:
WandaVision – 91% reviewers, 81% fans, 8.2 IMDB rating
The Hawk and the Winter Soldier – 94% reviewers, 79% fans, 8.4 IMDB rating
By permission, it’s still early days, and no one, not even critics, has written out reviews past the original program yet. Opinions may change as Falcon and the Winter Soldier shake more times, but WandaVision’s score remained relatively stable over his run, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see the same thing happen. here.

WandaVision
Disney
Falcon and the Winter Soldier have been much more actively focused since going here, where we had a Falcon series in the pilot that was identical to anything we saw from the MCU movies in houses -game. Then later, Bucky, as a Winter Soldier, murdered a handful of people in shorter, but still hard, firing. WandaVision, meanwhile, took a long time to build up to these big moments, and it was a more intriguing study of Wanda ‘s state of mind and a love letter to several decades of television participants.
But I’d say Falcon and the Winter Soldier don’t come across as just mindless action, either. We see Bucky struggling like Wanda, full of guilt about what he’s missing. Falcon believes he can’t live up to Cap’s legacy, and is struggling with the life of a civilian contractor, to lose his family business. And by the end of the episode, it seems pretty clear that the show is going to address some of the more pertinent issues related to race and authority when (spoilers) introduce A new, white American captain after discouraging Sam from embracing the fit. So while this may be a more “traditional” MCU with high flying action scenes, I think this display has the potential to be more introspective and important than a typical feature. At least that’s the view I got from the pilot. We’ll see how it stops out fast enough.
