Apple’s new game-changing privacy feature coming soon

iOS 14.4 is coming soon, and it looks like a new game-changing privacy feature could finally make an entry.

Apple has iOS 14.4 on its way, and it should be ready for launch very soon. When it arrives on your iPhone, it could include a long-awaited and changing privacy feature of games we’ve been waiting for a while.

The new iPhone privacy feature in iOS 14.4 – called Transparency Tracking App (ATT) – is a major change to the way apps can track you across services. When using an app on your iPhone, a pop-up box will appear, asking you to choose to enter tracking.

The pop-up reads: “x would like permission to search you on applications and websites of other companies. Your data will be used to deliver personalized ads to you. ”

You can then choose between “Allow Tracking” or “Request an App without Tracking. ”

The new privacy feature first appeared in iOS 14.4 at the end of December, Apple Insider reports, and the second beta version was released last week, revealing that the updated operating system version is grow closer. No date has been set yet, but iOS 14.4 will definitely be available in early 2021.

Facebook items to iOS 14 privacy transfer

Some companies, particularly Facebook, have opposed Apple’s privacy move, which is effectively seeing the end of IDFA (known for advertisers). Saying that the anti-tracking feature will hurt their small business advertisers, Facebook issued full-page ads in several papers to express its concerns.

Apple has already delayed changing the privacy of iOS 14 once, to give app developers more time to change their apps, but the iPhone maker has made it clear that it intends to feature released in 2021.

The possible iOS 14.4 move is good for people’s privacy, but it could also trigger a new serious problem, with some developers saying they will try to get around the new feature with prohibited uses such as fingerprints machine.

Apple’s iOS 14 has been great for privacy, with features like the Orange dot on your iPhone and recently launched privacy tabs.

The anti-tracking feature has long been coming. For now, you can turn off the ability for apps to find you across services using my simple guide.

Of course, nothing is certain, but hopefully iOS 14.4 will launch along with the iPhone’s new privacy feature within weeks.
