The efforts of Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez have seriously injured Neymar as he has been injured.
But round three between the two did not last too long in the end. Neymar was a substitute in the second half in the fixture and just seconds after entering the cradle he sent the Spaniard back to Espanyol by smashing him down the left wing.
In response, Gonzalez tried to kick Neymar but failed and the race continued toward a goal. Gonzalez then stood on Neymar’s leg in the box and was very lucky that he didn’t give a penalty.
However, he seriously injured himself in making the tack and eventually had to replace it. Karma, or poetic justice, if you will.
