Zombie Apocalypse Survival Guide provided by CDC

As 2020 would be enough of a battle, a zombie apocalypse could be coming in 2021 – but don’t worry, because one place in particular is covered for you.

That cunning prophet from the 15th century Nostradamus seems to have soon confirmed one of his hairy prophecies, with the wretched doomsayer saying back in the day that we would definitely be for a zombie apocalypse in 2021. Don’t worry, it’s usually wrong.

But what if it was right?

Well, over in the US, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has been offering advice on how we can keep it alive – which is good to know, because even if we don’t have a zombie apocalypse this year, shows increase like the walking Dead has made people wonder about how they would handle such a situation.

The CDC decided to create a Zombie Preparedness page where people can go for answers – just in case the undead starts to walk among us.

“As it turned out, what started out as a buzzword campaign to engage new audiences with introductory messages has been a very effective platform,” the guide read.

“We continue to reach and engage a wide variety of audiences on all risk preparedness through ‘zombie preparedness’. “

The page was made back in 2011, but when Nostradamus’ prophecy came again, people have recently come to the site for peace of mind.

The guide isn’t just for dealing with zombies, it covers a range of natural disasters as well – you know, like a pandemic or something.

“Bottled water, flour, disinfectant spray, toilet paper … A year ago, it didn’t matter how much money you had. You couldn’t get your hands on certain things,” John said. Sellick, a professor at the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences at Buffalo University, told Yahoo Life as he reflected on the beginning of Covid-19.

“Having stock at home may have helped carry some of us through. Clearly, most of us didn’t have an adequate supply of things.”

The CDC recommends the collection of an emergency package, including water – gallons per person – immortal food, pharmaceuticals and over-the-counter medications, and equipment and supplies.

It also recommends that you make sure you have sanitary and hygienic supplies, change of clothes, bedding and first aid – as well as any important documents such as passports or driving licenses.

Finally, the CDC recommends developing an emergency plan with your family so you know what to do in the event of a disaster.

This includes naming a place where you should all meet, as well as a list of emergency contacts and an evacuation route.

In the meantime, we just hope Nostradamus is proven wrong again.
