A blow to Milan. Just before her star returned to full fitness, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was injured again in team training. The Swede, who was due to play in the next round against Sesuolo, will re-examine his condition in ten days and is in doubt for the prestigious battle against Juventus on 6 January.
The striker, who was absent for a month due to a muscle injury, performed a full workout today (Friday), but at the end he felt pain again and the Rossoneri medical team decided to diagnose his condition again in about a week and a half, according to a report in Sky Sport.
Milan have finished their last two rounds in a draw, but are still at the top with a one-point advantage over Inter and four over Juventus. Without Ibrahimovic the team looks different and with these figures it is possible to understand why, the Swede scored ten goals and added cooking in six Serie A games this season.
Ibrahimovic, who returned to the team last January, will hope to lead it to the first championship in a decade, in which he was also a partner, during his previous term at San Siro.
