During the Passover holiday, the Rehovot Municipal Company will operate, for four days, the “Holiday School”, in all the elementary schools in the city, for students in grades one through three and students in the junior division. The program will take place in the mother classes according to the outline, including the “Yavnieli” and “Shavit” schools, which are routinely operated by a network of experiences.

The program will operate from March 21 to 24 (Sundays-Wednesdays, excluding Election Day), and another day in Asro Holidays, Sunday, April 4.

Kindergarten classes in the junior division – 80 NIS.

For grades 1-2, The cost is 180 NIS (funding from the Ministry of Education is only partial and therefore the price is full price, but if the student is added to an existing class in the afternoon, the cost will amount to only 80 NIS, and after registration a refund will be made accordingly). For classes that are active during the year as part of the afternoon and are not required to open a new group, the cost is – 80 NIS

For third graders The cost is: 224 NIS.

The minimum required to open a new group is 22 children.

The activities will be held within the schools, through teachers from the schools / after-school staff, and will expose the students to educational aspects related to Passover in a creative, experiential and fun way. Students will engage in value-based content, nurturing talents and abilities in the areas of enrichment around literary and musical works relevant to the holiday. In addition, purchased enrichment programs will be incorporated each day.

Children enrolled during the year in “Nitzanim” after-school programs are not required to register or pay for the “School of the Holidays” program, and they will continue the activity day directly to the after-school program, which will run until 5:00 p.m., according to a customized enrichment program. They will also be served a hot and nutritious lunch.

Registration for the “Holiday School” opened today on the municipal society’s website and will continue until March 16, 21. Please note, registration will not be allowed beyond this date. Nitzanim daycare children (including third graders) who are regularly enrolled during the year are automatically enrolled in the “Holiday School” and are not required to register or pay for the program.
