Zarif: “US time for negotiations is running out”

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has warned the United States that the time for negotiations on its return to the nuclear deal and the lifting of sanctions on Iran is running out.

Speaking at a European Policy Center conference, Zarif said that Iran is expected to enter a presidential election soon in June, during which Iran will not hold significant talks on its nuclear project.

Zarif expressed disappointment with Biden’s policy, reiterating Iran’s demand for sanctions as a precursor to the talks, saying: “In his actions, there is no significant difference between the Biden administration and the Trump administration. Europe is accustomed to compromise. resist”.

Meanwhile, the International Atomic Energy Agency announced today that Arian is approaching a critical threshold of uranium enrichment, from which it can begin producing military-grade enriched uranium for weapons. The announcement is a continuation of reports from the organization regarding Iran’s ability to produce uranium metal, an important component in the construction of atomic bombs.

Iran insists it is not interested in the production of nuclear weapons, but documents unearthed in recent years, as well as Tehran’s insistence on protected nuclear facilities, prove that Iran’s intentions are to develop a military nuclear program.
