Eran Zehavi wants to generate momentum with a series of rifts, and on the way to approaching the top of the Dutch league. The striker started tonight (Tuesday) in the PSV Eindhoven squad in a game against an artist, the last in the table, in an attempt to reduce gaps with the first Ajax.
The Israeli returned to business with a spectacular goal in a free kick in the previous round, in his team’s 0: 2 victory against Valvik. Zahavi now stands on a balance of four league goals and six goals in all competitions so far this season. The last time he scored a second straight game was in early November, but this season he has yet to score in two consecutive league games.
PSV is in third place in the league and is 4 points away from the leader, with Vitsa Arnheim (of Eli Desa) second with one point more than Zehavi’s team.
