YouTuber puts a modern PS5 through the hacker.
While many gamers are still waiting to get their hands on Sony’s latest gaming console – the PlayStation 5 – it seems like no YouTuber had credentials putting its way through an industry-leading hacker. A recent YouTube account called Captain Crunch Experiments has left people horrified and embarrassed by a video showing PS5 being destroyed by an industrial hacker. This even as high demand for the gaming facility, coupled with scalpers buying readily available stock, has ensured that people all over the world are having trouble buying the PS5.
Captain Crunch’s viral video shows him stripping the console as an “experiment”.
“In this video I am peeling and destroying the new Sony Playstation 5, the ps5 controller, the power cables, books and also peeling the boxes that come in. So you can see what inside PlayStation 5, “he wrote while sharing the video.
The video, which was viewed lakhs of times on YouTube, left many viewers angry.
“I have a PS5 but this makes me angry that someone could have played it instead of just stripping it,” wrote one beginner.
The PS5 has not been released in India yet. Globally, there has been a shortage of “scalper bot” software that resellers use to spy products online and retrieve them later times at significant benchmark levels on eBay and Amazon Marketplace , according to a Reuters report.
