The 32-year-old Kerry scored five threes against the Jazz, and in all raised his balance to 2,562 off-arc lashes during his career in the best league in the world. the next destinaion? To score at least 411 more threes and equalize to Ray Allen, who stands at the top with 2,973 threes. But while the former Boston and Miami star needed 1,074 games to reach 2,561 threes, Kerry settled for just 715 games.

At the press conference after the game, Miller Pargan knew who topped him on the historic list when he burst into surprise at the Zoom press conference, congratulating Kerry: “It’s an incredible achievement. I know you will chase after Ray Allen, you are an inspiration to so many kids, thank you so much for what you do, buddy.” Miller’s son told Kerry, “I have all your jerseys.”
Even before Miller’s surprise breakthrough, curry Told at the press conference how much Indiana’s legendary number 31 was a source of inspiration for him: “It’s special and I tried to enjoy it during the game because I knew it was on the horizon, and I knew how much I watched it when I grew up and saw it play against my dad.
