Tendulkar congratulated Siraj for what he had done and also praised Shardul, saying that the performance of the latter has kept the game and more importantly, the Test series live.

“Well done Mohd. Siraj on your 1st fifer and @imShard on your important long-term achievement that has kept the Test a bit interesting so far and more importantly, the live Test series, ”Tendulkar tweeted.

Last week, while analyzing Siraj’s bowling, Tendulkar had argued that it was Indian pacer ability and not pitch that brought the ball on the opening day of the final Test.

When Mohammed Siraj was bowling, I had one or two say that the ball hit the crack and turned its back on something I saw that was completely different. Mohammed Siraj, while bowling out pedestrians, (meditating on the glossy surface of the ball) this is the shiny side and all he would do is get his fingers behind the ball. and released, “Tendulkar said in a video posted on his Twitter.

“So the seam points towards the first slip, or sometimes the second slope, and when he wanted to make a bowl in a cutter that moves off the seam, instead of going behind the ball he went off the pitch, ”he said.
