Although Shiomi had already announced the flagship Mi 11 earlier this year, it is now going back and introducing the Xiaomi Mi 10S model destined for the Chinese market, which comes with the Snapdragon 870 chipset, up to 12GB RAM, Super AMOLED screen at a high refresh rate of 90 Hertz and a square photo array led by a 108-megapixel sensor.
On the front of the device is a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED screen, Full HD + resolution, 1080 × 2340 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz, which supports the HDR10 + standard and is protected by the Gorilla Glass 5 glass, with a slightly convex glass design On his sides. The maximum screen brightness reaches up to 1120 nits, with Shiomi offering a sampling rate of 180 Hz by touching the display and supporting 100% of the DCI-P3 color range.
The selfie camera is inside a small hole in the top and left of the screen and uses a 20-megapixel sensor, with Shiomi also emphasizing the audio side with a pair of stereo speakers working together, using technology developed by Harman Kardon.

Beyond its rear end, the Mi 10S offers a square photo array, led by Samsung’s 108-megapixel main sensor, with optical stabilization support (OIS) and an f / 1.69 aperture key, along with a 13-megapixel angle sensor 123 degrees wide and a pair of 2 megapixel sensors designed for depth perception and macro photography. On the video side, there is support for filming with a maximum resolution of 8K.

Under the cover of the Xiaomi Mi 10S is the Snapdragon 870 chipset, which is manufactured in a 7nm process and incorporates an 8-core processor, divided into 4 Cortex-A77 cores at a frequency of up to 3.2GHz, and 4 cost-effective Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz. Next to the processor is also an LPDDR5 memory component with volumes of 8 or 12 GB, a UFS 3.0 storage component with volumes of 128 or 256 GB and a 4780mAh battery that supports fast charging with a power of 33 watts, wireless charging with a power of 30 watts and reverse charging with a power of 10 watts.
The device will come built-in with the Android 11 operating system and the MIUI 12 user interface, combining a biometric sensor for on-screen fingerprint recognition, infrared (IR) and NFC sensors, and support for Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 6 connectivity.
Prices and launch dates
Shiomi will launch the Mi 10S in China in blue, white and black starting March 12, and it will not arrive in Israel officially.
