WWE Raw: Randy Orton against Triple H, Alexa Bliss firing back

January 12 (UPI) – WWE COO Triple H returned to Raw and faced his former pupil Randy Orton in the main event.

Triple H kicked off the show on Monday, which needs to be changed after WWE Champion Drew MacIntyre tested positive for COVID-19. MacIntyre initially went against Orton on Raw.

Triple H barely got a word in before Orton stopped him and wondered if the Game had returned to award him a WWE Championship due to MacIntyre’s absence.

Triple H said Orton should win the Royal Rumble if he wanted another look at the title before praising The Viper for setting the Fiend Bray Wyatt on fire a few weeks ago. Triple H said it made sense as the Fiend stood in its way, but questioned why Orton has continued to mock WWE legends, as seen last week on Raw.

Orton then challenged Triple H to fight instead of a regular fighting game. Triple H refused until Orton commented on his wife Stephanie McMahon. Triple H then agreed to the fight by punching Orton.

Triple H and Orton traded several grasshoppers in their main event fight in the absence of a referee. Triple H brawled with Orton outside the ring and threw it into the steel spiers, which made Orton start dripping from his cheek.

Triple H Orton shook the convener’s desk and grabbed his signature weapon, the sledgehammer. Triple H prepared to use the weapon until the lights in the field went out and the sledgehammer suddenly caught fire.

Alexa Bliss then appeared in the ring when music from Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House began to play. Triple H was gone but Orton stayed. Bliss fired at a fireball at Orton, which left him screaming in pain as Raw flew away.

MacIntyre spoke to fans about testing positive for COVID-19 and told onlookers at home that he has no symptoms. The camp said if it gets it, anyone can get it, and said the only way to stop the virus is by wearing masks and following social distance guidelines.

MacIntyre also spoke to Hall of Famer as the live legend Goldberg challenged him for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event on January 31st.

MacIntyre said he was disappointed to meet one of his heroes and commented on how Goldberg could never hold a WWE Championship during his career.

MacIntyre then accepted Goldberg’s challenge, making the game official.
