WWE Raw: James wins Gauntlet game, Alexa Bliss issues warning

February 16 (UPI) – Sheamus gained a huge advantage in the WWE Elimination Room game by winning Gauntlet on Raw.

The Gauntlet, held in the main event on Monday, featured all contestants in the Elimination Room match including the WWE Drew MacIntyre Championship. The winner of the right to enter the Elimination Chamber won last Sunday.

MacIntyre defends his title against Seamus, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy and Kofi Kingston, who replaced Mr. Money at The Miz Bank, in the Elimination Room game.

The Miz let out the Elimination Chamber saying he doesn’t have to compete for the WWE Tournament when he has a Money in the Bank newspaper. The A-lister tried to get his friend John Morrison into the game instead, however, Kingston beat The Miz to earn his spot in the store.

The Gauntlet was started by Styles going against Kingston. Styles tower defender Omos attacked Kingston’s New Day partner Xavier Woods, resulting in Omos being knocked out of the ring. Styles that won after Kingston was defeated by the Phenomenal Forearm.

MacIntyre was the next up-and-coming contestant and was brought down to the lowest level by Styles before the camp defeated him by Claymore. MacIntyre was then fighting Hardy who dropped a Swanton Bomb that stopped MacIntyre with his knees. MacIntyre then put Claymore on Hardy to continue in the Gauntlet against Orton.

Orton and MacIntyre’s game didn’t last long because Alexa Bliss noticed the Viper, who took over the entire ThunderDome. Bliss’s face appeared on every screen in the field and caught Orton’s attention with her evil smile. The referee then counted Orton, moving MacIntyre into the final against his former best friend Seamus.

Sheamus took advantage of a tired and exhausted MacIntyre, trying to Claymore ‘s attempt to take the camp out with Brogue Kick to win all three counts and win the Gauntlet. Sheamus will enter the Abolition Room at the end of Sunday.

Bliss, earlier on Raw, warned Orton that her partner The Fiend Bray Wyatt will be reborn after he set Orton on fire in December. Bliss appeared from the Firefly Funhouse and smiled as he stood inside a pentagram.

Bad Bunny reappeared on Raw and became the new winner 24/7. Akira Tozawa, a 24/7 R-Truth winner, was crushed in front of Bad Bunny and Priest Damian while hanging out behind the stairs.

Pastor Tozawa threw into a set of backstage equipment and asked him to crush Bad Bunny. Bad Bunny has officially become the new 24/7 Contest, a title that is protected 24-hours a day, seven days a week. A 24/7 title match capable of taking place anywhere or anytime while a referee is present.

Other moments from Raw included Riddle and Mouse House Party defeating MVP and Raw Tag Team Tournaments Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin from The Hurt Business; Charlotte Flair and Asuka Raw Women Contestant defeat Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce by being disqualified; and Women’s Tag Team Competition Shayna Baszler defeats Lana.

Evans would not get the ring against Charlotte Flair and ended the match after announcing she was pregnant. Evans manager Ric Flair slammed the news while Charlotte Flair looked in shock.
