The former WWE Batista Battery revealed on Wednesday that it will not be part of the upcoming WWE Hall of Fame concert to be held on April 6, 2021.
Batista, who was first named as an instructor in the Hall of Fame 2020 class, will not be able to attend the event due to previous commitments.
It will be introduced later to “thank the fans and the people who made my career possible.”
Batista was first slated as part of the WWE Hall of Fame Class in 2020 alongside the Bella Twins, nWo, JBL, British Bulldog and Jushin “Thunder” Liger.
“To @WWEUniverse Unfortunately due to previous commitments, I am unable to be part of the @WWE #HOF this year. At my request they have agreed to take me to a future reception where I can truly thank the fans and those who made my career possible. [folded hands emoji] #DreamChaser, ”he wrote on social media.

The WWE Hall of Fame 2021 Induction Concert will air Tuesday, April 6 only on Peacock in the United States and on the WWE Network everywhere else.
