(Reuters) – Former tennis player Caroline Wozniacki has announced NBA star David Lee who retired Wednesday says they are expecting their first child, a daughter.

“I can’t wait to meet our young daughter in June!” Wozniacki tweeted to her 3 million followers along with a photo that showed sonogram photos, stuffed animal and baby sneakers.

The Dane married the two-time NBA All-Star Lee, who won a tournament with the Golden State Warriors in 2015, in June 2019.

Wozniacki won the 2018 Australian Open to silence who said she could not win at the Grand Slam stage after falling twice in the final of the US Open. She retired after the 2020 Australian Open.
