Won £ 182 million – and will not receive the prize | That’s the reason

A young student, who buys a lottery ticket every week, re-marks the same numbers each week in the hope that one day she will be able to get rich. Last Friday, the raffle was held as usual, but this time the winning numbers finally matched the regular number series of 19-year-old Rachel Kennedy from Hertfordshire in the UK. However, only one thing prevented her from receiving the award – and you will not believe how disappointing it is.

Kennedy told the Daily Mail that she was “mad with excitement” after the results of the latest lottery held in the country were published. She was so close to winning around £ 182million, but due to the load of tests and works, she simply forgot to purchase her weekly ticket. According to Kennedy, only when she called to confirm her win was she told she had not purchased a ticket at all that week.

Kennedy’s partner, Liam Macrohn, was also disappointed by the brutal loss and shared the painful miss of the millions on his Twitter page. “Precisely when your lady decides not to play the Euromillions lottery … and all seven of her regular numbers go up,” Macrohn wrote, attaching a photo of last week’s lottery ticket, in which all numbers matched this week’s winning card.

In an interview with LabBible Kennedy said: “Everything happens for some reason, we are not richer or poorer than we were this morning. I just hope the money goes to someone who desperately needs it. Although it’s sad, I think we’ll get over it pretty quickly.” It was further reported that the winner of the same lottery was a Swiss man who took all the cash.
