b. Carrots:

Despite its sweet taste, carrots are effective in regulating blood glucose levels. These non-starchy vegetables are not only tasty, but perfect for people with diabetes.

c. Whole grains:

Whole grains are high in fiber and nutrients compared to reconstituted white grains. Fiber slows down the digestive process, helping nutrients to be absorbed at a slower pace, thus preventing a sudden rise in blood sugar levels. Whole grains like brown rice, rye, oats, oats, bulgur wheat, barley and quinoa are the best choices for diabetics.

d. Fat fish:

Fatty fish such as salmon, herring, sardines and mackerel are rich sources of omega-3 fatty acids. These omega-3 fatty acids protect diabetics from various complications related to diabetes and are loaded with proteins, helping women feel full for a long time, reducing the carbohydrate level.

e. Greek Yogurt:

Greek yogurt is rich in protein, calcium, and probiotic. Low fat sugar free yoghurt may help regulate blood glucose levels and may even help prevent the risk of type 2 diabetes. Women should have Greek yogurt with or between meals with berries, nuts, and seeds.

Women should do yoga, meditation, or other type of exercise for 4 to 5 times a week to maintain weight. Along with a balanced diet, timely snacks are an important way to manage blood sugar in diabetic women. Use more home-cooked foods, check out foods, and try sugar-free tea and coffee. Reduce salt and black pepper, and use herbs and spices instead to add extra flavors to the food.
