Although Danny Abdia was content with an evening of 4 points and 7 rebounds, but beyond the Washington Wizards’ impressive victory over the Los Angeles Clippers (117: 119), he also enjoyed an Israeli experience during the game.
The Israeli rookie team dedicated the game against the Clippers to the Israeli heritage, in a light atmosphere. Before the opening of the game, the Israeli singer Kobi Aflalo was honored to sing the American anthem, but that was only the beginning.

During the time-outs, quite a few Israeli hits were played, which resonated in Washington’s hall, and were accompanied by trivia details, some of them humorous, about the State of Israel, which were shown on the screens.
The Israeli evening also included congratulations from Israeli Ambassador to the United States Gilad Ardan, Omri Caspi, the first Israeli NBA player and also his teammates from Abdia’s reserve team, Yam Madar and Yuval Sussman.
