Winter weekend: The cooling trend will continue today (Thursday) and will be partly cloudy to cloudy. In the north of the country it rained occasionally and there may be local and short rain in the center as well. During the night between Thursday and Friday, the rain will intensify in the north and center of the country.

Lior Sudri, a Meteo Tech forecaster, said that on Friday it rained from the north of the country to the northern Negev, accompanied by thunderstorms. Strong winds will blow, it will be colder than usual and it will snow on Mount Hermon. In the morning there may be light snow in the north of the Golan Heights, in the south of the country your father will do and there may be local sandstorms. There are fears of floods in the Jordan Valley, the Judean Desert and the northern Negev, and in the evening the rains will decrease and weaken.

Saturday will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with a slight rise in temperatures. By noon, local rain is possible in the north and center of the country.

On Sunday it will be partly cloudy to clear, with a further rise in temperatures and a drop in humidity. Monday will be clear, with a further rise in temperatures and will become warmer than usual for the season and dry.

The data from the Meteorological Service show that so far the amounts of rain since the beginning of the season are again higher than the average in the north of the country and on the coastal plain, the entire length of which has dropped 120% to 150% from the average for the corresponding period.

In the northern coastal plain (Nahariya-Rosh Hanikra area) the cumulative amounts reach 160% to 170% and in this area the amount has already decreased, which is similar to the perennial average for the entire season and even more. In other parts of the coastal plain, 70% to 85% of the entire season’s rains fell.
