Impressive strengthening for Bnei Herzliya: The team announced today (Monday) the signing of American guard Jared Cunningham (29, 1.93) until the end of the season, in place of Frank Gaines, who was released from the club. Cunningham, a graduate of Oregon College, was selected 24th in the 2012 draft, and played from 2012 to 2016 alternately in the G-League and NBA, making a total of 84 NBA appearances in Dallas, Sacramento, Atlanta, the Clippers, Cleveland and Milwaukee.
In the 2016/17 season, Cunningham joined Nanjing from the Chinese League where he averaged 34 points per game. In the 2017/18 season he played for Bayern Munich, and in his European debut season he led his team to win the German Championship and Cup (12.1 points per game in the German League and 19.3 in the Cup), and the EuroCup semi-final (12.4 points per game) in which he was relegated by Droshafka.
In the 2018/19 season, Cunningham played for Italian Brescia where he scored 13.7 points per game. Last season he played in Santa Cruz in the G-League and during the season he joined Shanghai from the Chinese League and managed to play three games in it until the Chinese League stopped due to the Corona.
