Ron Huldai, who will leave the Tel Aviv mayoral office and compete in the elections for the 24th Knesset when the “Israelis” party managed to provoke quite a bit of anger last night (Thursday) when he painted the city hall building again in the flag colors of another country – this time the United States.

A rat Tweeted: “Preserving democracy – this is us”, angry residents wrote to him: “There is really nothing democratic about using your position as mayor to run a campaign for the government”, another wrote: “How democratic is it to use Tel Aviv municipality resources to run your campaign?”, Eliraz Sadeh Sting: “Fines and force on small businesses – it’s you!”.

The one who took a step forward is Nir Levy, Who heads a list of “changing direction” for the Tel Aviv-Yafo City Council who wrote: The Central Election Commission, the Attorney General and the State Comptroller and I demanded their immediate intervention! ”

The wording of the complaint: “In honor of the Chairman of the Knesset Central Election Committee. Re: Utilization of municipal resources for the benefit of an election campaign. Honorable, as has been known in recent weeks, the Mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo has declared his candidacy on an independent list for the Knesset of Israel in the upcoming elections. Mr. Huldai, blatantly uses the town’s resources endlessly, from holding Facebook page operation meetings, through illuminating the front of the town’s page and concurrent political statement and other such and other uses. Mr. Huldai and members of the “Israelis” movement do so blatantly and without any explanation. ”

The letter continues: “Your immediate intervention is required! Please require Maron Huldai to immediately suspend himself from the position of mayor for the election period! A city like Tel Aviv cannot be run in such an unstable manner using it as a hostage for political purposes. Exist your role and save us public money! Sincerely, Nir Levy. “Silence is slime.”
