Good news for the Danish team, ahead of the match against Israel in the World Cup qualifiers. Nice striker Caspar Dolberg received approval from the French authorities to lift the travel restrictions and therefore joined the Scandinavian team, four days before the meeting against the Blue and Whites.
Dolberg is not in a particularly good season, both individually and as a team. The Nice striker scored just 3 goals and netted another in 17 games. In the national team allowed 5 times in 22 games. Another striker, Andreas Cornelius, is injured and will not be able to reach Israel. Marcus Ingbertsen, of the Berlin Union, has been called up.
As you may recall, the big story of the summonses is the exclusion of Christian Eriksen, who could not leave Italy, following Corona’s outburst at Inter. Philip Billing, an English Bournemouth midfielder, has been named to the squad in place of the Danes’ No. 1 star. The rival team will also meet Moldova and Austria in the opening week of the World Cup qualifiers.
