Who Barbara is in Wonder Woman 1984?
The Cheetah has been seen as an enemy as well as a friend to Wonder Woman as she tries to strike a balance between human and animal instincts. In recent installments, Cheetah’s character is known as Barbara Ann Minerva. She is an archaeologist obsessed with artifacts and will go to any risk of discovery.
Her rather ambitious vision puts her in trouble this time as her fanatics with mythology take her into the deep deserts of Africa. There she is stuck and ends by being pushed to perform historical rituals that transform her into a half-man and a half-cheetah with a nostalgia for blood. Barbara who was originally an ally and a former Wonder Woman honors a complaint against her and blames her for not being able to save her which caused her to lose her health.
