The Easter egg is back in Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War and before you reach the real Easter egg, there are several other tasks that need to be accomplished. As is common with the previous Easter eggs, players must gain the power and turn on Pack-a-Punch, along with collecting the Wonder Weapon. Here, you will know where the shovel is in Firebase Z.

A sleek new map has been unveiled for Black Ops Zombies and is known as the Firebase Z map. But before the players can get their hands on an Easter egg, there are many other parts that need to be lifted.
They can also be seen as important things needed to move forward in the question. The shovel is one of those things and is used to dig up the underground Aether vessels. It is also one of the main things that the players need to start the boss fight which lies at the end of the Easter egg. The exact location for this egg is in the Scorched Defense area in the left bunker.
Firebase Z. Easter Egg Guide.
- There will be a waymark when you start heading towards the Atrium from the Garden.
- Now that you’ve made your way there, talk to Ravenov and talk about the Pack-a-Punch machine that has been turned off next to the window.
- Ravenov explains that you need to use the Teleporter to reach the Omega base.
- Now the next step is to enter the Teleporter.
- To reach and use the Teleporter, you need to collect and use 1,250 points to unlock the door leading to an equipment storage area.
- This is opposite the courtyard.
- Continue using the stairs and you will reach the shiny Teleporter.
- The final step is to activate the Aether Reactors
- When you finally reach the base of Omega, you will make your way to the Helipad.
- Here, you now need to find and activate all three of the Aether Reactors,
- All of these require 500 points each to activate.
- Once you have activated a reactor, you must defend your collection points while charging the reactors with zombie killing.
- When the cost meter gauge is full, the reactor will turn purple and release an explosion that will kill any zombies nearby.
- There will be lots of dark Aether arrows around the map and all of these will guide you in the right direction at the reactors.
