When is Logan Paul opening Pokemon cards?

Youtuber and boxer Logan Paul open the Pokemon boxes at the first edition he bought on February 27th. The 25-year-old reportedly spent $ 2 million to buy the boxes earlier this month.

February 27 is known as ‘Pokemon Day’ all over the world until the day the franchise began on the stated date in 1996. Paul bought six boxes of Pokemon at the first edition, in which each contains 36 packs of Pokemon cards.

Last October, Logan Paul raised $ 200,000 to buy one box of Pokemon before opening it during a live stream on his YouTube channel. He found a rare Charizard card through the stream.

Logan Paul is expected to partner with Goldin Auctions to identify the biggest boxed Pokeman cards, which are slated to air live on his YouTube channel.

Is the boxing match between Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather off the table?

Logan Paul was scheduled to fight Floyd Mayweather in a show boxing match on February 20 this year. According to Paul, he persuaded the legendary boxer to fight him after a live Q&A session on Fanmio. However, at the end of January, it was announced that their boxing trough would be switched off forever.

Paul revealed that his team is trying to work out a new contract with Mayweather to create a fight date as early as possible.

“The problems are, when you’re dealing with someone like Floyd Mayweather, who is, you know, the most aspiring fighter, with the highest salary on the planet, he works at a level special, “Logan Paul said in a YouTube video.

“The people around him want to make sure that their talent, their fighter, achieves a certain level. There are a lot of circles to jump through,” Paul said.

Paul began his professional boxing career in 2019 in a bout against another KSI YouTuber, who lost through a split decision. The two YouTubers had previously fought each other in a non-professional white-collar boxing match a year earlier before making the transition to professional boxing.

Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather’s last professional boxing match was against UFC superstar Conor McGregor in 2017. Two years later, ‘Money’ was also battling Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa the showmanship.
