The Sussexes expect to know if formal allegations of bullying will be made against them by Buckingham Palace, it is understood.
The couple were not informed of the investigation into allegations that their staff had been bullied and left “broken”, “frightened” and “shaken” with fear.
The unprecedented study will be led by a Royal Family human resources manager, who will invite Sussex staff past and present to interview their experiences in an effort to develop and ensure policy that “lessons have been learned”.
