Samsung has successfully tweaked the Galaxy A-Series according to people’s preferences. The A52 in particular is going to be a hit, every taste of the phone got a good impression in last week’s poll.
The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G came out on top, showing that next-gen connectivity is an important consideration for many. Compared to its 4G twin, it also has an updated chipset (Snapdragon 750G vs. 720G) and a higher refresh rate for its screen (120Hz vs. 90Hz).

The 4G version of the Galaxy A52 was very popular in itself. The extended software support (3 years of OS updates, 4 years security patches) is a major drawback and can easily determine the price over competitive models. In addition, both Galaxy A52s feature OIS on their main camera, which is a must for some of the competition.
The Samsung Galaxy A72 was the smallest of the three. That 3x telephoto lens should have been the trump card, but in the end it pretty much wasn’t. Right now, 5G seems to be more important than optical zoom. Samsung may release a 5G version of this phone (the A32 even has a 5G version), which will come in much better than the Galaxy A72 4G.
