Betar Jerusalem will go to the field tomorrow (Wednesday, 18:00) for a critical game against MS Ashdod in the eighth finals of the State Cup. The team in yellow and black has been in a long series of games since the return of the Corona lag forced on the team (10 games in 32 days – Average of play almost every three days).

The training began with a long video meeting of the pair of coaches, Shai Barda and Slobodan Drapic. The two initially delayed the game against Hapoel Kfar Saba, praising the work and the pressure game in certain parts, and demanding to improve parts they did not like during the game. They also showed successful offensive moves, and demanded to be much faster in making decisions with the ball.

Then they moved on to talk about Ashdod, and complimented the opponent on the way it has done so far. Drapich He told the players: “Critical mistakes must be avoided and be responsible in the defensive game, so that we are not punished.” Barda He added: “Ashdod has an organized and orderly team, we have to give a whole game of hard work and be smart. With the fans in the stands, this is a completely different game.”

The players then set out for training, which began with a warm-up by fitness coach Telmo de Anders, and continued with dedication exercises, extensions and individual work with a number of players. The coaches did not practice the 11 that will open in the game, with the team of physiotherapists now working overtime to get everyone on their feet in the best possible way. Tamir Adi returned to training with the team and with a ball, hoping to be fit for the upcoming games.
