Everyone who lives in and around Tel Aviv knows this. Want to order food during the rush hours of the afternoon or evening and all places are closed for reservations due to too high demand. Go mess with hungry Tel Avivians. Just before you shed tears for the writer closest to your home and close the evening with frozen corn schnitzel and Ben & Jerry’s, let us tell you something: the city of Givatayim exists, and in a huge way.
Yes yes, the city that has undergone an image revolution in recent years has long been not old and boring. Katzenelson Street is the center of life and in the days when it was repaired it was full of people of all ages in the many bars that opened there, along with quite a few restaurants and thus a small and modest scene of places that were open until late was created, not obvious.
The Corona did its thing, the bars closed and the demand for deliveries grew. Not all the famous burgers in Tel Aviv reach Givatayim and Ramat Gan and slowly the old places in the city and the local restaurateurs realized the demand for quality hamburger deliveries that would reach the area. In recent months, new burgers have soon opened for them, along with restaurants that have added hamburger deliveries to the regular menu, temporary pop-ups and even chains with temporary representation in the city and a dish entirely dedicated to an employee’s stew.
We ordered deliveries from seven different places in the city, tasted them and reviewed them for you. It was not easy but it was definitely fun. All you have left is to read the article, keep the link in an accessible place and distribute it to your friends who are addicted to invitations. Appetite!
Marlene Burger
If the “Marlene” hamburger can be defined in one word, that word would be “excellent.” You know how it is, sometimes the “normal”, the “minimal” and the so-called standard, words that are considered almost derogatory words – are the biggest compliments. There is no doubt that Marlene was the best burger of the ones we ate, which made us immediately at the end of the meal pray to everyone who needed it for this pop to become something regular.
The patty, as mentioned, is minimalist, but it does not detract from its flavors even slightly – it is made precise, juicy just right and every bite is a real treat. As if we didn’t enjoy it enough, the chips are different and delicious too. And for the especially hungry among us, you can even add another patty for twenty shekels. Everything is too good here, we have nothing to complain about.
Aside from the usual vegetables, it is accompanied by pickled onions that add a lot to the array of flavors that this burger has, and its secret sauce is also very tasty and just adds more fun to this whole package. With each re-bite, you feel the taste of the meat and its refined seasoning, and especially that a lot of respect is given to the meat here.

Chapo
If we’re in the business of defining, then there’s no doubt that Chapo will have a “hamburger bad boy” -style definition. Behind the tempting photos and dishes is the talented chef Jalal Salam, who has made a miraculous change to the menu of Viola Cafe and started a pop-up of corrupt burgers on Tuesdays, which has recently become, as you can see, a chapo. Which operates as a ghost kitchen out of a viola cafe that is currently closed.
The patties come in a perfect degree of delivery, red on the verge of perfection. From here everything goes crazy because there are not-so-ordinary burgers here that are totally worth every bite. Cheese lovers will enjoy here but not only them. Here is a Mexican special that includes fried avocado, corned beef and other surprises.
The downside? Well, it’s not really a disadvantage. The truth is that every dish and special on the menu looks stimulating and worth ordering, so you have to order more than once to try everything, the burger pomegranate is worse than any pomegranate you know.

Agadir
Although the chain’s delivery system also reached most of the areas in Givatayim, the chain opened a Givatayim pop-up several months ago, which essentially operates from the kitchen of the well-known and beloved “Nelson” restaurant. The highlight of the pop-up is a Sabih burger dedicated to the mythical Sabih man from the city – Oved.
Sabih Burger has now become a nationwide dish that can be ordered in delivery from the other branches as well, and the truth is quite rightly so. In most of the burgers we ate here and in general in the country the toppings are quite repetitive, spoiled or not, very few things can surprise us already, but a burger with eggplant, ambala, spicy and soft-boiled egg is definitely one of them.
The combination will deter some of you, perhaps rightly so, all the more so when you have to put it together on your own, but it is done for a good purpose – preserving the freshness and desire of Agadir that you will not get a pulpy and wet dish. When we put everything together ourselves, everything turns out to be a wise decision, and especially a tasty decision. If you are an eggplant lover take advantage of the existence of this dish and order it quickly as long as it is still sold.

Buzz burger
Two delicious burgers of the restaurant went into our stomachs, the first is a Hawaiian burger that includes the classic vegetables, chipotle mayonnaise, pineapple in teriyaki-ginger sauce and kosher lamb bacon. The patty was made exactly as we requested (medium wall) and juicy, although a little of the salt in it could be removed. However, the pineapple and lamb bacon were excellent and added a lot to the burger, and the combination of everything made us happy in the taste buds.
Another burger we ate from Buzz was the New York burger, which also included lamb bacon, caramelized purple onions, arugula and truffle aioli sauce, and these were accompanied by a relatively small amount of vegetables – pickles and tomatoes only. The truth? All of these toppings made up for the lack of vegetables in a big way, and they blended in superbly and created a burger that was just fun to bite into every time again. There is no doubt that these two burgers are just a particularly enjoyable corruption experience.

Porto Porto
Compliments aside for a moment, it’s quite surprising that an Italian restaurant serves a hamburger, and even more surprising that it’s simply excellent in every way: well made, juicy and mellow, the sauces where it adds a lot of flavor, and the focaccia bun it serves are surprising in its originality The most addictive burgers we have eaten in a long time. We were already hungry again.

Lick
Since its establishment in 2004, the Zelik Cafe has become a real institution for the residents of Givatayim and the surrounding area. Truth be told – right here – but we’re here for the successful burgers that the place offers, so we’ll focus on them, and start with the leader in them, the champion. With delicious and juicy lamb bacon and surprising onion jam, which sit well on a nice patty and other delicious toppings, this is a juicy and soft burger that just melts in your mouth with every bite again, and sometimes you don’t need more than that.
Basil can also be found in a more classic dish, like the cheeseburger, for those for whom it is relevant, which was also juicy and delicious, while in his case the onion jam adds sweetness that makes this whole package deal a real treat. The Black Lemon Cheese also manages to surprise with its toppings, and even if it’s a little more special than the others, it’s still doing the job and will be just right for burger lovers looking for light thrills with their patty.

I answered bistro
“Crazy” burgers with surprising toppings are always something fun to try, and if they turn out delicious – we’ve won! This is exactly the case with the American hamburger from the excellent Givatayim bistro “Anati”, which is simply a delight to the palate. It starts with a delicious and fun brioche bun, lasts with a juicy and properly seasoned patty that just melts in your mouth and ends with excellent sauces and fried onion rings that add an addictive crunch to every bite. It’s one of the most successful burgers we’ve had to eat lately, and every bite of it proves it anew.
And yes, we must not forget that “Anati” also has a more modest, classic hamburger, which proves that simplicity can also be very good – and that it should never be underestimated, certainly not when this simplicity is so delicious.
