It’s rare to pick a top select player with a team that includes several All-Stars and a two-time most valuable player.
However, that is true for James Wiseman. After landing with the Warriors in the 2020 NBA draft, the No. 2 overall pick will tie in with his new team Stephen Curry.
After missing the opening of his rookie training camp due to a positive test for COVID-19, the Memphis result was able to return to Warriors practice this week. With his first use of the books, Wiseman was asked if he had yet to have a “wow moment”.
In a press conference after working with members of the media, the 19-year-old described playing with Curry as his “wow time. ”
Lots of Steph plays. When it comes off screen and the bullet is about 30 feet out, and it makes it clean. That’s crazy for me. It’s just like 2K, basically. It’s kind of crazy.

In the last two preseason games at Golden State of 2020 slate, Curry’s “2K” shot was fully displayed. Scoring 29 points in back-to-back tilts against Sacramento Kings, Curry drill 11 3-pointers in a two-game stretch.
Over his 11 seasons in the NBA, Curry shoots 43.5% from being further away from the arc on 8.2 3-point attempts per tournament.
Wiseman could have a chance to match the All-Star five-point in-game action for the first time when the Warriors travel to Brooklyn on Tuesday, Dec. 22 for an opening night matchup with Kevin Durant and the Nets.
