Mars ’successful arrival on the Perseverance rover on February 18 allows the U.S. to accomplish several firsts: a drone helicopter flight on another planet, access to an ancient river delta that may be exposed to fossils microbial, and the most interesting action of all. for the Internet Age: a high-definition video of a touchdown on another planet.
That third is now a reality, after the National Aeronautics and Space Administration released the stunning video Monday after a massive buildup on social media over the weekend.

The nickname “seven minutes of horror” from the top of Mars’ atmosphere to the surface of the flight is dangerous at best – with extreme heat, gravitational forces pushing with a real illusion of 12,000 mph and a complex series of movements which needed to go just right for the 2,200-pound rover to settle on the red planet at a slow 1.8 mph.

The craft had traveled more than 292 million miles since its July 30 launch from Cape Canaveral, Florida. In the past, the last recession was just a field of computer graphics and animation. For persistence, however, the group stood out with high-resolution video cameras and a microphone to record this dangerous phase of the trip, both for engineering vision and the public’s keen interest in viewing video of a city- mara Mars.
On Friday, NASA released a still image of the rover being dropped on its rocket-powered “spacecraft” – first for the U.S. space agency. But now there’s a video: The film was made with six “ruggedized” commercial cameras, one of which failed when a mortar fired on board the parachute. NASA collected 23,000 images during the entry, rescue and landing phase and 30GB of data.
