Warhammer 40K game pushes a rat to control a robot dog

Stay with me here, the mental gymnastics is worth the next trip down this game control rabbit hole. The folks at the Game Workshop game company hold the license for the Warhammer 40,000, AKA Warhammer 40K game. This game universe is best known as a board game, with a huge amount of paint-it-yourself parts that have been more successful than ever during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The publisher of the game Focus Home Interactive was working with Games Workshop to allow Warhammer 40K story elements to create the game Necromunda: Hired Gun. This is a game that takes place in the Warhammer 40K universe. This game will soon be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC on June 1, 2021.

Above you can see the first “trailer appearance” for the game Necromunda: Hired Gun. On record, you get a hard look at the intense action and the crazy bullet-puzzle adventure worth playing this game on. If everything we’ve experienced in the best FPS we’ve ever done stays just as fun here in Necromunda, we should have a winner with our hands. Wall runs aplenty – move around the map to win!

But here ‘s the thing – is this the part that makes this game look like it’ s going to be above and beyond the… in a good way? You get control of a bionic dog. According to Kotaku, the “cyber-mastiff” is controlled by the user with a chewing toy in the shape of a rat. This is going to be beyond weird.

The screenshot you can see at the end of this article is from Streum on Studio and Focus Home Interactive, the people developing and publishing this game. It feels like the first time we ever played Unreal Championship, or DOOM. It’s weird. It’s a bit worrying. That’s exactly what we needed to take an interest in a game that might be lost among the hunters.

Cross your fingers this game has everything it claims to be. Let’s play as fast as we can – squeaker rat out the gate!
