The first five programs of WandaVision they are now featured on Disney + and the latest duo feature Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis. This marks Dennings ’first time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since then Thor: The Dark World released in 2013. Dennings is returning to the MCU during one of his most exciting projects. In fact, she recently told me Extra TV she thought it was “cowardice” when she first heard the park.
In the interview, Dennings explains that her first meeting for the series was in a “very secret conference room” and she had to sign many NDAs before she entered. She said the walls were “covered in sitcom references” as well as comic books. “I was just like ‘How are you going to do this? This is a complaint. This concept, I’ve never heard of this.” Of course, they drew off surprisingly well, but it’s hard to explain. Dennings goes on to say that the “testimonial on the show” is the fact that her mother, who has never seen an Avengers movie, loves it. You can watch the full interview in the video to below:
Fans of Dennings will be thrilled to hear that Darcy is likely to feature in more upcoming Marvel projects. “There are some things I did for Marvel that come out that don’t [WandaVision]. But maybe I can’t say, “Dennings said Plus. “We’ll leave it at that.”
Recently, Dennings was talking to the Keep it podcast about it WandaVision and it turned out that Darcy ‘s role should have been a sight or two, but her relationship with Natalie Portman (Jane Foster) inspired a bigger part.
“Since Natalie and I are already friends, I definitely remember this,” Dennings said. “I walk in the room and I’m very shy. I came in and sat down and Natalie hadn’t gotten there yet and everyone was so nice. Natalie came in and She sat on my lap because we are friends, I think, our relationships began to affect them [like] her purity and love. Slowly, Darcy became more involved, and I was like, ‘Why are they adding me to scenes?’ “She said,‘ If I’m being honest, the magic of friendship is the reason I’m here today. “
