‘WandaVision’ seems to be going to include Reed Richards, not the X-Men

When Evan Peters came on as Quicksilver in WandaVision over the past two weeks, the first thought was that this was going to be a major merger with the FOX and Disney Marvel universe, and it would feature the arrival of the X-Men into the last MCU.

But the further this goes, the more likely it is, and the more likely it will be. different the new MCU property seems to be as important as it is in the cards.

I don’t know exactly what WandaVision has planned for Evan Peters ’Pietro, but it certainly doesn’t seem like he’s there to welcome in a group of X-Men, and most of theories viewed as a sort of Mephisto, a sinister villain who is after Wanda’s great power.

But the other side of the Hex that is more relevant to a major revelation right now is the fact that Monica Rambeau is going to try to meet with an “aerospace engineer” communicator to try to solve this Wanda problem.

Few aerospace engineers are specifically named in Marvel’s history, but obviously the most prominent are only Reed Richards, Mr. Fantastic of The Fantastic Four. And besides that fact, there are two main reasons why this may be the case:

1. Unlike anything related to the X-Men, back in December Disney announced that the Fantastic Four were teaming up with the MCU in an upcoming new film from Jon Watts. This is probably our first look at who they chose for Reed in particular, anyway.

2. Monica Rambeau and Reed / The Fantastic Four have a history based on a comic where she has gone to them for help in the past, which is once she gains superpowers and inspires her to Take Captain Marvel (long story).

All of these things come together to show that this could be where all this goes, with the end-of-season release of Reed Richards at the MCU, a character we haven’t seen since the famous 2015 Fantastic Four remake where was played by Miles Teller. Prior to that, it was played by Ioan Gruffudd over two earlier films.

Who is going to play for him this time? Well before that, there has been a huge fan campaign to try out the role of John Krasinski at the Office / Jack Ryan. He was once almost Captain America in the MCU before that went to Chris Evans, but it’s easy to see how Richards could have played here and now. And if you have trouble thinking that …

Fan throwing rarely goes out just as fans think, but who knows. Unlike the arrival of Evan Peters as Quicksilver, who was “leaking” well before he arrived with news of his throw, we haven’t heard anything about Reed Richards throwing, so either it doesn’t happen after all, or he is being kept under heavy, heavy guard.

Anyway, we have three weeks to find out the answer here, so we’ll see you back here in six days for further discussion.
